Allyson Weichel (22) plans to continue her academic career studying forensic psychology at UCCS for two years and to spend a semester abroad studying different cultures. She is involved in NHS, LINK, Knowledge Bowl, and the EHS track and field team. Weichel is an amazing leader for the track team, as she competes in hurdles, relays, and open events. She is always there to give great advice for those who are new to the team.

Her personal favorite EATON acronym word is tenacity, “You can do anything you set your mind to, if you’re tenacious enough,” Weichel said. Leadership is one of her most important morals, she shows it in every way through all of her extracurriculars and sports. She is also very occupied as she is in zero hour, track, and works out outside of school.

“I feel like it is important to be a leader in the school so you can help the upcoming leaders grow their skills too. It is kind of like passing on the opportunities that were given to me to the next leaders, so they can help make the school a better place as well,” said Weichel. The legacy she wants to leave behind when she graduates is that people will see her as “the girl that gave it her all”.
