The Lady Reds defeated the Sterling Tigers on with a score of 54-35. The Eaton girls played a tough game and led scoring in every quarter. Sophomore Nakaiya Kuskie continued her three point streak, scoring 13 points overall. Kuskie leads Eaton in three pointers and has making 27  total throughout the season. Kuskie credits her success at Eaton’s game, to her team members, “To shoot a three pointer you have to create space which we’ve been working on. If we’re able to create space for our line it helps everyone and is something that the team does really well.”

Overall the girls scored 24 points during the first half and another 30 during the second making the game a high point for the Reds. Friday’s game was one the four league game Eaton girls have played. Reds are currently ranked first in Patriot League standings. Eaton girls have led a fantastic season losing only one overall game and winning all league games so far. Senior Bailie Duncan said, “I think our record is a good reflection on how hard we’ve worked throughout the season but there’s still a lot of growing to do and improvements to be made.” Reds hope to continue their winning streak with their next league game against the Valley Vikings on Jan. 22.
