FFA coloring and drawing contest

Part of FFA week at EHS was a district-wide coloring and drawing contest. At the high school, the first place winner was Ian Richling (21), the second place winner was Tatiana Bertram (24), and the third place winner was Ella Keenan (23).
Ian Richling entered the contest because he really enjoys drawing and coloring, and it gave him something to do during his off hours. Richling said, “I wanted to draw because I enjoy the creative freedom it gives you.” Richling enjoys drawing because he can express what art is, that he can put his own perspective on what art is. Richling was happy that he won first place in the coloring and drawing contest. he loves to draw and color because it’s a creative outlet for him.
In second place was Tatiana Bertram. She entered the contest because she loves anything art and thought it was a good thing to spend her free time. Bertram didn’t really think she would win. She just really enjoys making art and does anything that involves art. Bertram was very excited to do the contest. She said, “I was excited. I always did the coloring contests during the chili dinners that happen every year around Christmas.” She seemed to always win contests and it made her very happy that she was placed in a contests for school. She didn’t expect to win anything, she just participated because it made her happy and it was really fun. Bertram loves to draw and color, and she thought this contest was really challenging because the pictures that were handed to students were really pixelated. She couldn’t really picture what the image was but she really enjoyed trying to figure it out. Overall. she really enjoyed entering the contest.
In third place was Ella Keenan. She said, “I was bored and wanted something to do.” so she entered the contest. She believes that coloring is very calming and therapeutic and it gives her a calm feeling. Keenan enjoys coloring and drawing because in her free time she takes art classes and really enjoys it.
All in All, FFA had a district-wide contest to help support their club and help people bring out their creativity in their art, so they held a coloring and drawing contest.
