Boy’s basketball win against Frontier Academy

The Reds defeated Frontier Academy 61-50 in the varsity boys basketball game Friday the 13. Eaton trailed behind Frontier most of the game, but at the end of the third quarter the Reds led the opposing team by two points. The game started off with Frontier Academy scoring the first two points and then another two points before Eaton scored their first points. The Reds did pull ahead briefly when Austin Coalson (17) brought the score up to 6-4. Following this, Frontier and Eaton alternated between scoring. By the end of the first half, the Wolverines were ahead by six points, the score 22-28.
During the third quarter, the Reds maintained their six-point deficit until Frontier went on a streak of eight unanswered points that gave them a 25-33 lead. Following this, Eaton mounted a comeback, bringing the Red’s score within two points, and right before the third quarter ended Eaton jumped into the lead 41-39. Going into the fourth quarter, the Reds scored the first basket, and for the rest of the game, Eaton maintained its lead Frontier Academy. Eaton boys basketball’s next game is at Platte Valley on Tuesday the 24.
