The recap of the final week before the presidential election.

This week in the 2016 Presidential Election,
The FBI has reopened the case related to Hillary Clinton’s use of a private server to send classified information. The FBI found evidence of Clinton’s emails on Anthony Weiner’s laptop that he used to send inappropriate pictures to underage girls. On the same laptop, Huma, Weiner’s wife, received emails from the former Secretary of State that the FBI thinks may contain classified information. The FBI has reopened this case now that they have come across this evidence. The case was never fully closed because there was never a formal decision to end it.
Governor Mike Pence arrived in Loveland this week for a political rally before the election. Pence and Trump are aiming at battle ground states for electoral votes in the 2016 Presidential Election. Trump made an appearance at the University of Northern Colorado where protesters held signs against his campaign. A New York Times poll states that Trump has a four point lead over Clinton in Florida with 46 to 42. Trump has a scheduled list of ten states to visit before the election and Colorado is on that list.
The election takes place next Tuesday, Nov. 8, where the United States will elect the new Commander in Chief. Stay tuned for updates on the election next week.
