An overview of Shelby Nail’s trip to Japan this summer
Shelby Naill (17) vacated from Colorado and to Tokyo this summer. She spent a week in Japan and was a guest at her aunt’s house during her stay. She had a chance to take some of her senior pictures while she was there. It was an eye opening experience for her culturally. “My favorite part was experiencing a different culture than mine.” The food was a close second for her.
The culture is different in Japan that it is in America. “The culture is very respectful and friendly.” Many people asked to take pictures with her and the people she traveled with because they were Americans.
She traveled to more than just Tokyo over the week. They also visited Takasaki, Karuizawa and they went to Mt. Myogi for a day trip. Her overall city from the trip was Tokyo. “I really like Tokyo because it had such a great energy about it.”
