Isaiah Cordova (17) had the chance to travel to Thailand for a month during the summer. He spent the entirety of June exploring the country of Thailand. Cordova said, “I spent most of my time in Bangkok." He also visited River Kwai, Siem Reap in Cambodia, Angkor Wat and Angkor Thom.
Angkor Wat
Angkor Wat and Angkor Thom are temples and buildings that sit next to each other and are built with incredible architecture. "I enjoyed the time I went to an island resort on an island called Koh Samed.”

Cordova said, “Thailand is a really nice place. Bangkok has a cool mix of futuristic and historical that I don’t think very many places have.” There are also tall skyscrapers around the country. Thailand has a conservative culture but “nobody really cares what you do.” Cordova said, “They hold on to traditions and really, really love their king.” The day after Cordova arrived was the king’s birthday. Cordova said, “Everyone in our neighborhood wore t-shirts with the king's face on it.”
