For the winter break at Eaton High School approaching, many students are busy, busy, and more busy over the break. Students are traveling, snowboarding and skiing, last minute shopping, and many other exciting things that are common around this time of year. The winter break is a beacon of hope, that the halfway point in the school year has been reached; that summer is that much closer, and that even traveling is jolly at this time of year. To the students at Eaton High School: what are you doing over break?
“I think our family is going to the Christmas Carol at the Candlelight place.” said Coby Heaton. (19) “We go to some play like that every year, it’s our tradition.” http://www.coloradocandlelight.com
“That Krampus movie, that looks fun. I’ll probably go to that.” said Nate Vondy (19) http://www.digitaltrends.com/movies/krampus-trailer/
As many students look to enjoy the two weeks off, some are going to be hit with the bus that is Holiday Transportation.
“I’m going to Indianapolis.” said Walker Shuman,(19) “the travel sucks but the presents are worth it.” http://www.flightstats.com/go/Airport/delays.do?airportCode=DEN
The holiday break means just more than two weeks of school, it means joy and giving. Presents and family, which for some, are the worst part, but through thick and thin, the winter break is a break enjoyed away from school.
These students at Eaton High School are going to be busy over the break. Being busy isn’t the essence of the thing, the season of giving and being jolly. It’s the Holiday break, enjoy it!
