The repainting of the Indian mascot on the track between the high school and middle school began this week by the art club. Even a beautiful school like Eaton high needs a makeover now and again. The art club, when asked by the janitorial staff, began to paint over the faded mascot Tuesday afternoon, to once again transform it to its earlier greatness. As a group, the art club has mostly just been working on individual groups, but this would mark their first group project. Later in the year they plan to expand their club and work on even bigger projects for the school. Next week, if the weather allows, they will finish up the mascot, replenishing the white “E” behind the mascot itself.
