Eaton High School hosted its first career day last Friday, allowing its students of all grades to be introduced to a number of jobs they could strive for in the future. Each career was sectioned into certain colors according to the career clusters on the College in Colorado website. Students took multiple quizzes on the college in Colorado site to determine which of the seven clusters was best for them. The clusters included business marketing and public administration, agriculture natural resources and energy, STEM arts design and information technology, hospitality human services and education, health science criminal justice and public safety, skilled trades and technical sciences, and military. For the first half of the morning, the freshmen and sophomores updated their plan of study and took surveys on College in Colorado. Meanwhile, the juniors and seniors were set loose in the main gym to question and interview the volunteers who came to present each of their careers. At 10:30 the freshmen and sophomores switched places with the juniors and seniors.
