In honor of “Day of the Walking Reds,” students went crazy in their Red Pride apparel. One of Eaton’s trademark looks is the handmade spirit tutu. Girls gather each year before spirit day, and the Homecoming football game, to create their tutus with a DIY Pinterest tutorial. These tutus make a loud statement in the hallways with their sparkles and flashing colors. Even though this trend is only a few years old, it is becoming wildly popular. This homemade creation is usually worn with the standard black leggings and Eaton fanfare shirts. Ironically, tutu tulle skirts are also a growing fashion trend for fancy outfits. However, these tutus are an extremely toned-down version of the spirit tutus at Eaton. Whether students are still little girls at heart or simply love the idea of wearing a tutu to school, EHS knows how to flaunt their spirit with a little tutu-pizzazz.
