Throughout this past school year, many FFA students achieved high place finishes and honorable awards. In the State CDE Contest, Hannah Bott and Elise Cozzens were gold individuals in the Farm Business Management Event. The team consisting of Elise Cozzens, Hannah Bott and Leslie Kamtz was silver. In the Milk Quality and Products Event, Everett Loftus was a bronze individual, Clayton Baker was a silver individual and Julian Moore was a gold individual. The team consisting of Julian Moore, Clayton Baker, Everett Loftus and Sierra Inskeep was silver. The Livestock Judging Team consisted of Blake Turrentine, Grady Folot and Dawson Turrentine. Elise Cozzens is a State Star Candidate in Star Placement and also won a State Degree. In Poultry Production, Leslie Kamtz won the Gold Emblem Award and Jessica Miller won the Silver Emblem Award. In Sheep Production, Kendra Folot won the Gold Emblem Award, Tayler Hays won the Gold Emblem Award and also was the state winner, and Julian Moore won the Bronze Emblem Award. In Swine Production, Blake Turrentine won the Silver Emblem Award. Students will receive most of their awards in June at the State Convention.
