The girls basketball team is headed to state after a crushing victory over Bennett on Saturday, with a final score of 83-49. The team played exceptionally well and was able to stay ahead throughout the entire game, keeping at least 12 points on Bennett at any given time. The key players of the game were Bailey Jones (15) and Bailey Schumacher (16), who scored an astounding 19 points apiece. Other key players included Sami Muse (14), who was able to complete three of four field goals, and Lindy Dixon (16) who made five of ten field goals. With their victory, the Reds will advance to the State Tournament at Air Force Academy in Colorado Springs. The first rounds will be on Mar. 13, and the final rounds will be held on Mar. 14.
