Eaton volleyball swept its Regional pairing matches against both Bennett and Coal Ridge, winning both in just three games. The Reds dominated the night on Friday, Nov. 2, not even allowing 20 points in any of the six games, making their overall record an impressive 19-6 on the season. By sweeping regionals, the Reds locked up the number seven seed at state, and are paired with Roaring Fork and Platte Valley in their pool for state.
If the Reds are going to repeat as state champions, it starts with playing the Rams of Roaring Fork on Friday, Nov. 9, at 5 p.m. and the Broncos the next day at 12:30, both at the Denver Coliseum. If the Reds win their pool, they will advance to the State Semifinals at 2 or 3:30 p.m. followed by the state championship match at 7 p.m.
