The Reds finished the regular season with a spotless 9-0 record with their 52-26 victory over the Sterling Tigers Friday, Oct. 26. As in previous games, Austin Ekeler (13) led the game with 260 yards both passing and rushing. Ekeler ran in five of the seven touchdowns. Trent Sieg (13) and Garrett Collson (15) led the team in tackles. Sieg had seven solo and two assists and Collson had seven solo tackles.
The Reds clinched the second seed for the 2A State Football Playoffs, preceded by Kent Denver. Platte Valley is seed seven, Brush is seed nine, and Strasburg rounds out the Patriot League at seed 16. Eaton will play the no. 15 ranked Aspen Skiers on Nov. 3.
