Senior Spotlight: Megan St. Jean
Megan St. Jean plans to go to college and study either pre-med or bioengineering next fall. At EHS, she is the president of the NHS chapter, a Link Leader, and on the volleyball team. Outside of school, St. Jean is involved in club sports and mental toughness/leadership programs, and spends her free time with her nose in a book.
St. Jean said, “To me the most important thing to me as a leader in the school is making sure that everyone has a place and feels comfortable at school, regardless of their interests.”
Creating a space for self expression is vital to a welcoming high school environment, and St. Jean fosters that. “The legacy I hope to leave behind is to be your unapologetic self. Regardless of your interests or what you believe, everyone deserves to be loved and respected. The true you is so beautiful and perfect, so don’t change for the approval of other people,” said St. Jean.
