After graduation, Catelyn Adams (21) plans on attending Liberty University to major in nursing. Adams hopes to eventually become a missionary nurse. Involved in athletics and leadership, Adams wants Eaton High School to continue to be an inclusive environment. Adams plays basketball, runs track and field, is the President of NHS, Senior Class Vice President, Link Leader, and a member of FBLA.

“As a leader in the school, it is really important that I attempt to make everyone feel welcome and included. I think students are scared of seniors. I want to make sure that isn’t the case for me. I’d also like to encourage everyone that it costs nothing just to be kind to one another,” said Adams. To maintain Eaton’s positive peer relationships, leaders and students like Adams are needed.

Adams said, “I want to leave behind a legacy of always being kind and making others smile.” The day-to-day routine of school can get mundane, and students who prioritize kindness to those around them make it a better place to learn.
