Senior Spotlight: Sarah-Cate Ogden
By being bold and dreaming big, Sarah-Cate Ogden (21) is making her mark on Eaton High School. Ogden is continually improving her role as a leader with her involvement inside and outside of school. She is a member of GSA, EECO, NHS, Link, DEI (Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion) Student Panel, theatre production and Bella Voce choir.
Ogden said, “The most important thing to me as a leader in high school is being bold. It is vital for leaders to be open and kind and to reach out to others. I often remind myself to approach those who may need a boost”.
Ogden has gained her confidence by putting herself out there, whether it be through fashion, theatre, or choir. “I want to graduate knowing I helped make EHS a more accepting place. All students should feel free to express themselves how they want and to live unapologetically. Everyone deserves that loving energy,” said Ogden.
Ogden has big dreams after high school and the drive to achieve them. Ogden said, “I plan to attend college and major in acting after high school. I hope to study to become a professional actress, specifically on stage, but maybe on the screen too! I don’t know where I’m going to college yet, but I am excited for that journey”.
