Tailing behind Estes park who placed fourth and had an average time of 21:44, the cross country girls led to a bittersweet ending as they send off Mckenna Cyphers (19) to state. Cyphers said,” It was a bittersweet feeling at regionals realizing it was my last race with an incredible team. I love this team and all the memories we’ve made this season. Everyone is so hardworking!” Cyphers placed as an individual for state by placing 13 overall with a time of 20:55. She will be running at the State Championships in Colorado Springs this Saturday the 28.
