In celebration of completing the school year, new principal Jay Tapia will be hosting a barbecue for the students and staff. The barbecue will take place on the last day of school, May 24 after an hour long assembly in the auditorium. A shortened Monday schedule will take place with 20 minute class periods. Students can purchase the lunch for three dollars. Tapia will be grilling hotdogs and hamburgers for all the students who said they will be eating lunch. Tapia wants to end his year as principal on a good note, by starting a new EHS tradition.
