Hats on for the Ingrams
The Eaton High School students and staff came together to raise about $300 that will go to Kennedi’s family on hat day. FCCLA has decided to round the $275.10 to $300 and write a check for the cause from their funds. Kylee Bean (18), FCCLA president, said, “I just really wanted to do something even if it was something small so the family knows our whole community is standing beside them in this difficult time.” Typically the proceeds from hat day, Kaps 4 Kids, are usually raised for children with medical challenges, but in order to rally behind the Ingram’s, all proceeds went to the Ingram family props to Bean and her FCCLA team who decided to raise the money for Ingram’s family instead of Kaps 4 Kids to show the community’s strength and support.
