Eaton racks up 53 points on Bobcats

The Eaton wrestling team obliterated Estes with a score of 65-12 Thursday, Jan. 19. The Reds were awarded the first points of the match because of two forfeits from the opposing team. With a starting score of 12-0, Eaton racked up six  more points for itself through David Pringle (18), who was victorious over his opponent. Estes won its first points by beating Ty Garnhart (19). The Reds followed this up with four wins. Isaiah Salazar (20) scored six points by defeating his opponent, followed by Grayson Lewis (18) giving Eaton a score of 29-6. Connor Moose (17) and Braedy Sturdevant (18) both proceeded to beat their opponents, racking up 12 more points for the Reds. After this, four forfeits from Estes gave Eaton 24 additional points. One forfeit from the Reds gave Estes six additional points as well. Eaton’s next wrestling match is against Valley at Valley High School on Saturday, Jan 28.
