Boy’s basketball lose against Strasburg

Eaton boy’s basketball lost a road game to the Strasburg Indians 58-47 on Jan. 10. Eaton’s top player was Jaxon Hobbs (17) who scored 13 points and totaled nine rebounds. This season Hobbs has averaged 12.5 points and 7.9 rebounds per game according to MaxPreps. Despite the loss, Eaton is staying focused on the rest of the season. Hobbs said, “A positive is it’s our first game back and it gave us a strong idea of what we need to do to get better.” The Indian’s lead scorer was Jacob Miller (18) with 22 points. Miller was 6 of 11 from the three-point line. Strasburg is now 6-1 and Eaton is currently 3-5 on the season. The boys will tip off versus Frontier Academy on January 13 at home.
