Cross Country girls bring home second-place finish, qualify for state

Cross country girls ran their way into second place at regionals on October 20 at Monfort Park. Emma Willadsen, with a time of 19:42, crossed the finish line fourth, followed closely by teammate Taylor Hays with a time of 20:12 in eighth place.  Out of 13 teams, all the Eaton girls placed in the top 45 out of 89 runners and second overall. Taking only the top four teams, CHSAA will be hosting the state cross country meet October 29 at the Norris Penrose Events Center in Colorado Springs.
