Hailing down on the entire student body, the student council welcomed new students and old to socialize after school Friday over their favorite frozen treats. Only three days into the school year, with one fourth of the school’s population immigrating from the middle school, many students crowded into the commons attracting even more like Brinely Shultz who said, “the crowd of people and the a announcement caught my attention.” Almost fortunately for the student council hail began with the ring of the bell, and added to the outcome of patrons, as noted by Tarynn Sieg, also stating how, “it gets better every single year and more people know about it.” Sieg also stated how the choice of ice cream this year, of ice pops and ice cycles were very intentions to help include more people and to allow them to get their choice of flavors. Adding to the already friendly attitude the gathers was added to by many friends like Catherine King-Bruke who bantered with Rylie Book-Cass saying, “Rain is a beautiful thing” and Book-Cass added, “so is ice cream.”
