Part of being noteworthy is the legacy, and EHS guest speaker last Monday, Dave Gustafson, has left quite a legacy behind. Gustafson and his family have been part of the Eaton Community for over 100 years. Five generations including Gustafson’s great grand parents have graduated from Eaton High School.
This legacy started back in 1908, when his great grandfather graduated from Eaton High School. A year later, his great grandmother graduated from this school. Over a century later, Gustafson’s grand children, Aaron and Tyler Gustafson whom many of us know, graduated from Eaton High School. Dave Gustafson said, “My legacy extends through this city for five generations. My family was here even before the trees, and it’s amazing to see this town today from when I first went to school here.” Gustafson’s grand sons could potentially extend the legacy to six generations.
