The Eaton Reds football team (3-1, 0-0) came out with a 31-21 victory over the Manitou Springs Mustangs (0-4, 0-0) to win their homecoming football game on the night of Sept. 25. The night was highlighted by a great rushing game from senior players Dalton Waln and Colton Ingram as well as by sophomores Jake Sandeau and Travis Cunningham to combine for a total 335 rushing yards. Their run game combined for 85% of their total offense gain, which also led to all four touchdowns scored by the Reds offense on the night. The Reds were led by their thirteen senior players to comeback from a 21-13 deficit behind Manitou in the third quarter.
The Reds next game will be against the Platte Valley Broncos (3-1, 0-0) on Friday, Oct. 2 at EHS’s home field.
