Reds wrestlers suffered an upsetting defeat last Saturday Jan. 10 in the Lyons triangular. Eaton wrestlers train to conquer the opponent, making it even more devastating when they lose. This is the case for Tanner Lewis (16), who wrestles in the 120 weight class, and said his goal this year is to be a “state champ.” Before the Lyons meet he said he did not doubt that they would be tough, but he said, “I have good chances.” He lost two very difficult matches during this most recent meeting , though. As a team the Reds lost, overall placing third of three schools. The wrestlers, including Lewis said they, are still proud, training, believing, and have all eyes forward. They are not backing down and are ready for what is to come, staring the January 22 Sterling Triangular in the eyes.
