The EHS cross country team dominated its last meet in Fort Morgan everybody on the EHS cross country team posted their personal best time. A portion of the runners even passed out because of their hunger for success. The teams coach Jessica Ruff has coached them well. The team’s next meet is in Brush on Saturday Sept. 20. The team would love to see you there to support the Eaton Reds. The eight boys and eight girls form a very strong team with Mckenzie Reiher and Conner Untiedt running the teams best times. This team runs 3.1 miles every meet. So you know they are working hard when they finish huffing and puffing. Jessica Ruff works them hard and therefor there are successful results. The Cross Country team represents Eaton very well. The Cross Country meets are huge! There are schools all over the state that attend. So it is remarkable that we are one of the top school with crazy fit runners. It takes both mental strength and physical strength to accomplish these meets. Jessica Ruff is one busy lady. Not only does she train these hard working runners. She also is a teacher at the Galeton Elementary. Galeton is ten long minutes east of Eaton. So overall it takes a good hard working team and coach to do great at the cross country meets.
