Buc-ee’s second location is being eyed in Colorado Springs, so people from that area don’t have to drive to Johnstown. Buc-ees is known as a big gas station store. It has many fueling stations and electric charging stations. It originated in Texas and now has 50 other locations. It also has a place in Johnstown, CO. It is known for food, shopping, and big clean bathrooms. People love Buc-ees’ food because customers order Texas-style items such as Barbeque and meat. Buc-ees want a new location for all the Buc-ees lovers in Colorado. 

The place the owners of Buc-ee’s want the second Buc-ees to be is in El Paso County, which is between Denver and Colorado Springs. The Palmer Lake Board of Trustees will have a hearing for the new location on Dec. 12, 2024. Colorado Guide, a 9News spokesperson Alexander Kirk said, “At this stage, we cannot comment on the project, whether we believe it meets eligibility, or share any thoughts or opinions on its viability and merits.” They wrote an article based on this second location. Since they are only in the process of getting the land, People have no official truth about whether this area will be our second location.  Buc-ees is known as the “best favorite gas station” in Colorado, so they want another location for people to enjoy. 

Junior Kinzee Kohl has been to Buc-ees three times and enjoys Buc-ees company. “I’ve not heard that they’re making a new Buc-ee’s location and they’re probably making a new location so then everyone doesn’t have to drive to Johnstown to go to Buc-ees,” Kohl said. 

Junior Ceasar Garcia, who has been there twice, finds it a fun time to experience with friends. “I believe the best thing about Bucees is that it has many options and the store is huge,” Garcia said. 

Bucees have become a favorite thing everywhere and so many people love it. Buc-ee’s new location is going to be just as big and exciting as the other one and if the second location gets confirmed, people will enjoy it.
