After high school, Zoe Hamilton (25) plans on attending Tiffin University in Ohio to earn a degree in Forensic Psychology while continuing to pursue her career of softball.
Hamilton is actively involved in the National Honor Society at Eaton High School which is an organization that is committed to community service. She shows her love for softball by playing for the varsity team at the school and for her club, Colorado Softball Academy. Hamilton is extremely passionate about her softball career and works diligently to leave a legacy that inspires others to achieve greatness.
To Hamilton, the most important letter in the EATON acronym is the “A” for awareness. She believes it is essential to know what’s happening in your surroundings. “Knowing what’s going on around you can help you be more prepared for anything that comes your way,” said Hamilton. This awareness not only aids her in her daily life but also strengthens her leadership skills at school. Hamilton emphasizes that being a leader is about setting a positive example and showing others the kind of person they should aspire to be.
Living by the quote, “Failure isn’t final,” Hamilton reminds herself that setbacks are not the end and that there is always room for improvement. For her, being an Eaton Red means “striving for excellence and being the best version of myself no matter what.”
