Hailey Pribble (24) plans on pursuing a career in elementary education after she graduates high school. She hopes to attend the University of Northern Colorado (UNC) for her major. If this plan doesn’t work out, Pribble may consider attending the University of Wyoming and entering their ultrasound tech program.
Pribble knows that as a senior, it is her responsibility to help carry on the Eaton legacy in an honorable way. She has recognized that high school can be hard, but knows that she will get through it and so will everyone else who has doubts. High school is a lot different than the real world, and that can be scary. She lives by the quote, “Everything happens for a reason. If it’s meant to be, it will be.” The quote often reminds her that everything will turn out okay.
The most important letter of the EATON acronym to Pribble is the “O” for ownership. She said, “The ability to own up to your choices is a skill that you will need all of your life. It’s important that it’s being taught throughout the school.”
Eaton High School has a special culture that students enjoy being a part of. Being an Eaton Red and leaving behind a legacy is something that is important to Pribble. She said, “To me, being an Eaton Red means trying your hardest to succeed and challenging yourself.” She is participating in multiple college classes this year to challenge and prepare herself for success in her upcoming years.
