Sylvia Renfroe is a savvy senior that scored a lead role in the fall production of Get Smart. Sylvia has been involved in Eaton High School theatre for all four years. To Renfroe theatre is, “a form of expression, a chance to discover your creative side.” Renfroe was at a loss of words when she discovered that she had gotten the lead female role. Renfroe says, “I have gotten bigger supporting roles in the past, however, this is my first lead role.” In theatre Renfroe has gained new friendships that will last her a lifetime. When asked about the atmosphere of Production she said, “we are all loving, fun, and we truly care about eachother. I know it may seem cliche, but we truly are a family.” The main thing that Renfroe says she will take from theatre is taking risks and not limiting her true potential.
