With the cool weather just around the corner, it is time to get pumped for the ski season. Despite the fact that Colorado has been in a drought that has ceased to produce a normal Colorado snow year, everything is about to change. Many predict that this year’s snow will make up for the past several dry years. With A- basin opening as early as mid-October followed by Loveland in late October, shredders statewide are taking care of their season passes and brushing up on their gear to hit the first powder hard.
So, it’s time to get out more this season so that whether you just want to learn, master a new trick in the park or kill a bid mountain line, Colorado is the mecca for all things snow related. This February of 2014 the Winter Olympics are commencing in Sochi, Russia so go big this season and know no limits like a true Olympian. Buy an Epic Pass or Colorado Superpass online before the prices go up and never look back. Go view the showing of Warren Miller’s “Ticket To Ride” coming two Ft. Collins this November 8th at the Lincoln Center. Visit Outpost Sunsport’s annual ski swap on October 5th and 6th and take advantage of some great deals on both new and used gear.
