Eaton boys basketball’s great run came to an end in the state Final Four at Moby Arena in Fort Collins tonight, March 15, against Pagosa Springs, 56-33. The boys, who are seeded 22 in the tournament, but upset both 11 ranked Peak to Peak 6 Alamosa, and 3 ranked Holy Family to advance to the Final Four. Pagosa Springs went on to win the state title against private school power house, Kent Denver. The boys went on to lose to Brush, 55-39, in the consolation game to end the season with fourth place.
