Tom Brady announces he will join Fox Sports after retirement
Fox Sports gets another athlete to join show
After Tom Brady announced his retirement earlier this year, he made his decision to unretire and go back into the league for a year or maybe even longer. Everyone knew that it was a possibility for him to come back, but know one knew whether it was going to happen or not. NFL fans all throughout the world will have to wait and see what football brings when Brady is retired, but that is not this year. He will go back to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers for this next year and will see what the rest of his career will bring. Alex Williams (24) thought he would come back and have another strong season. He said, “Tom Brady proved he was the greats quarterback when his first year at Tampa he won a Super Bowl. Now he is coming out of retirement to compete for another championship. I believe his field vision and arm strength make him a top contender for the best quarterback in the league today.”
Even though he decided to play a little longer in the league, when he does choose to retire, he will be joining Fox Sports as an NFL analyst. Throughout his career, seven of the 22 years ended with a Super Bowl ring which is the most by any player in NFL history. Brady won 243 regular season games and 35 postseason games for a combined 278 wins. With these wins, he holds a .769 win percentage which is the most by any quarterback who had played 100 games. He also holds other records like most regular-season passing completions (7,263), passing yards (84, 520), and passing touchdowns (624). Although Brady had all of these accomplishments, he said that he had unfinished business to attend to. Zack Maske (24) said, Because of these stats and accomplishments, he will go down as one of the best quarterbacks ever. Then when he joins Fox Sports, he will give a great outlook on the game and give us a lot of player insight.”
For the next NFL season, we will see Brady take the field throughout the season in a Buccs uniform. When he decides to hang up his jersey and cleats, he will take on a role in a suit and tie on Fox Sports.
