Senior Spotlight: Ryan Dirksen

Ryan Dirksen (22) plans to further his athletic and academic career at Western College University in Gunnison, Colorado this fall. After his 3A State Wrestling Championship last weekend, Dirksen reflects on his legacy as a leader at Eaton High School.

“I hope to leave a legacy of showing dedication and effort in everything I do. Excellence is a very important part of the Eaton acronym to me because this year I was undefeated in football and wrestling,” said Dirksen.

Dirksen has strived for excellence with a 13-0 record in football and a 48-0 record in wrestling. He also helps coach in Eaton’s little league wrestling program. His passion for his sports inspires those around him to uphold the excellence of an Eaton Red. Within the high school and community, Dirksen’s leadership positively impacts his peers.

Charlotte Reynolds is a senior at Eaton High School. She became a part of the Eaton Red Ink staff her freshman year. Charlotte is a member of Eaton High School's Marching Band, Symphonic Band, and Jazz Ensemble, in which she plays percussion. She is also senior class president and a Link Leader. She enjoys spending time with her friends and writing (obviously). She has enjoyed challenging her writing skills and meeting new people while being a member of the staff. Charlotte has discovered a passion for photography through journalism, which inspired her to start a business. She is a very outgoing student, who loves to attend school activities such as sporting events and concerts. Charlotte also loves expressing herself through fashion and clothing.
