Emojis are the newest way of showing expression and depth to a text that many of us use to communicate. There are 3,633 of them so far, but sometimes the one needed to describe what the customer is trying to say is not available. Apple adds emojis off of customers’ requests and they are adding 200 new emojis in this next patch. There are many new emotions and loads of couples emojis being added to this patch. 217 new emojis were approved in September 2021, including faces, hearts, people, and couples. The new faces include a cloud face, dizzy face, and blowing face, whilst the hearts include a bandaged heart and fire heart. iOS 15 also sees a series of new bearded people emojis, with two different male hair designs that both feature in six different skin tones. There are also eight new couple emojis which are all available in 25 different variations. These emojis will all become available before the end of 2021. Emojis will definitely continue to be added for as long as there are text messages. Apple is adding many new features besides just emojis. They are adding faster Siri and more that will only increase the power of the newest models of the phone. Also adding new facetime call features and redesigning the apps: Safari, weather, and maps.
