One of Netflix’s popular series To All the Boys, had a third movie coming out. The new movie To All the Boys: Always and Forever came out on Feb. 12 and is about a girl named Lara Jean who has to choose between two colleges. One college is the one her boyfriend is attending, and the other is the college that her heart is calling to. Always and Forever is a movie about young love, future planning, and determination. “The theme of the movie was to prove that not everything is going to be easy, but you do what it takes to make it work, because that’s what you do when you love someone,” said Emily King (22). Going through the grades of high school is hard and this movie shows the hardships of high school and relationships with friends and family. As the school year comes to an end Lara Jean is much like the seniors at Eaton High School; applying to colleges and planning a future.

 This movie is great to watch on a cold winter day with a blanket and hot chocolate. Zack Maske said, “The movie was great to watch whether you were alone or not and had a realistic storyline behind it. I thought it was a great movie overall.” But before this movie there are two more parts of the series, To All the Boys I Loved Before and To All the Boys: P.S I Still Love You. “Always and Forever is a really good movie, but definitely not as good as the previous ones. It had some good parts though and I would recommend it if you like the rest of the movies,” said Lexi Oliva (24). The movie has a general theme of going with the heart instinct for large decisions rather than let other people’s decisions affect personal ones, such as going to college in Lara Jean’s case.
