Senior Spotlight: Jaymie Woody

Jaymie Woody (21) is attending University of Northern Colorado to major in psychology this coming fall. Woody has committed to her softball career throughout high school, winning a State Championship last fall.

She also assistant coaches her old travel softball team. Woody’s interest in psychology sparked when she took a psychology class her junior year.

“I became passionate about helping people and studying mental illnesses,” said Woody. Throughout classes and clubs, high school helps many recognize their purpose and passion beyond the walls of EHS.

Woody said, “I think it is important to stay committed to things that are important to you, and I hope I’ve represented that to my younger peers. The most important part of being a leader at EHS is being there for others when they’re at their highest and lowest points.”
