EECO’s contribution to Eaton High School
EHS is planning on planting a tree with a plaque of all the members of EECO.
Eaton High School sponsored event EECO (Eaton Earth Care Organization Club) Is making this town cleaner and more responsible one recycling bin at a time. EECO) like many school events, is a great contribution to the school for activities. For example, The lights out day where everyone had to reduce the light they use and the green and a blue day where you would try to wear the colors of the earth show awareness that this state and country needs.
It would be great to have a memory of the club through a plaque with the members of the EECO. The sponsor of the club, Erin Pierson said “this club is to help kids and help this earth” If members came back to the school in 10 years and see the tree grow like the town of Eaton and the school. ECCO’s purpose is to influence the school to be responsible and recycle as well as teach people important concepts like what can be recycled and if things are biodegradable. This is important Because with this knowledge Eaton can better the town we live in by just throwing it away in the correct bin and loving green earth. EECO will hopefully keep growing and showing kids the right way to recycle and be responsible. Hunter Tomlinson said, “it was a great learning experience and he learned a lot.”
