Senior Spotlight: Mackenna Dalton

Mackenna Dalton (21) plans to attend Grand Canyon University next fall to study nursing. Dalton has spent her years in high school spreading truth and love through what is most important to her: her faith. Dalton said, “I want people to know God’s legacy when I graduate, not mine. I know God will continue to use me to spread his love with others.”

By treating her peers with kindness and gentleness, Dalton fulfills the role of a great leader. “As a leader, I want to make sure all know that they are cared for. I do my best to try and influence a positive attitude with everyone because being positive makes each day brighter,” said Dalton. Dalton has dedicated herself to Link Leadership, FCS, youth group, theater, yearbook staff, swim team, interact club, and knowledge bowl.

She plans to continue using her God-given talents to inspire those around her. Dalton is encouraged by, “Therefore do not be anxious about tomorrow, for tomorrow will be anxious for itself. Sufficient for the day is its own trouble,” Matthew 6:34.

Charlotte Reynolds is a senior at Eaton High School. She became a part of the Eaton Red Ink staff her freshman year. Charlotte is a member of Eaton High School's Marching Band, Symphonic Band, and Jazz Ensemble, in which she plays percussion. She is also senior class president and a Link Leader. She enjoys spending time with her friends and writing (obviously). She has enjoyed challenging her writing skills and meeting new people while being a member of the staff. Charlotte has discovered a passion for photography through journalism, which inspired her to start a business. She is a very outgoing student, who loves to attend school activities such as sporting events and concerts. Charlotte also loves expressing herself through fashion and clothing.
