Spooky season has begun, and the Reds are still perfect in their league.  Two seniors with three aces each. The Eaton Reds Volleyball team and their serving led them to another sweep at home against the Strasburg Indians.

Combined for a total of 13 Aces in the game Tuesday Night, the Reds easily swept the Inidans.  Set one, the Reds jumped out early and crushed the Indians 25-7. The Reds kept their momentum up and also won set 2 easily 25-11.

The Reds had four girls with three serves in the game.  Both seniors, Andie Anderson and Noelle Meagher, along with Rylee Martin (23) and Delaney Ochsner (21).  All four girls led serving runs and made the Indians struggle to even send a ball over the net at times. Sydney Leffler (21) also had an ace, but also led the team in kills with 10.  Leffler said, “A huge role in helping us win that game was us just having urgency.”

Those kills resulted in another win in the third set for the sweep.  They took set three by a score of 25-12. Leffler said, “It was especially important in the thirds set for everyone to just go out and finish the game.”  Next, the girls now 9-2 will take on 3-9 Brush High School on Thursday, October 3.
