This year for spirit week on Monday you either dress like a Vcso girl or E-boy. A Vsco girl is a girl who wears scrunchies, wears long big t-shirts, with messy buns, puka shell necklaces, and carries around a hydro flask and constantly says “ and I oop, and sksksk” an e boy is a boy who does scary Tic Tok’s, dressed all in black, wears black t-shirt with a black and white striped shirt with a lot a chains around their necks. There were many girls that dressed up like a Vsco girl and it was so cool, and many girls also dressed up like e-boy. Student Hope Ambute (21) said: “Many people say I look like a Vsco girl but I didn’t see it until Monday wear it didn’t take me long to find an outfit to look just like a Vsco girl.” I didn’t see much boys dress up but when they did it was so funny. On Tuesday students are able to wear their favorite team/ sport jersey. Many people wore Broncos, Steelers, Eaton Reds, and many more types of jerseys. Student Perla Gomez (21) said: “ I finally got to wear one of my Mexican jerseys and feeling proud to wear it.” On Wednesday, students are wearing a color that corresponds with their grade level. Freshmen wear Purple, Sophomore wear pink, Juniors wear blue, and Seniors were yellow. Very few freshmen dressed up but the ones who did showed school spirit. Student Carmelita Estrada (22) says “ This year is the only year where I can express what I like to wear without getting judged because other people like me are wearing the same” Students don’t normally wear what they want to wear without feeling like they are getting judged. Of course, many seniors dressed up in funny outfits like bananas. On Thursday, students are supposed to dress in beach attire. On Friday, students are supposed to wear red and white. And finally, on Saturday students have homecoming at 8-10 p.m, and hoping everyone is gonna have a blast. This year for spirit week I’m hoping everyone tries there best to dress up and I hope each grade level is trying their best to win the spirit stick.
