Imagine sitting in a small hot classroom filled with twenty-five other students, the musty smell wafting through the room, causing everyone’s concentration to falter. Then imagine finally leaving the classroom exhausted and hot, and entering a crowded hallway, walking shoulder to shoulder with other students towards the next class where the same problems await. Students at Eaton High School know this feeling very well; especially during the warm summer days at the beginning of the school year. These are only some of the recurring problems that come with the antiquated school, and the district is currently on a mission to correct these flaws–including two ballot items for the upcoming election.
