Over spring break, EHS staff member and para professional Ms. Wendy Todd passed away on Friday March 30. She was loved by many students and teachers for fun personality and her efforts in and out of the classroom.

An official announcement from the administration reads:

One of our staff members unexpectedly passed away over break. Some of you may know her by Mrs. Todd or Mrs. Wendy. She worked in a variety of different classes supporting students an teachers. She will be deeply missed and our hearts and prayers are with her family during this time of need.
Our counselors are here for anyone that might need support. Please keep Mrs. Todd and her family in your thoughts.

Cathy Gaber, director of special education, said, “This may have been Ms. Wendy’s first year with us, but she made a positive impact on our students and our school. She will be dearly missed. ”

Counselor Marcy Sanger said, “She had such great energy and she did such a great job of connecting with students.”

Students are encouraged to sign a poster, located in the commons area, for the family of Ms. Wendy.
