An EHS student, Mackenna Dalton (21), was injured in a car accident along with her mother on Dec. 26. in a three-car accident at the intersection of Weld County Road 74 and 31. Both Dalton and her mother were two of the three hospitalized after the crash that involved an SUV, a truck towing an RV, and a tanker truck hauling human waste. According to the family’s GoFundMe page, “surgeries have taken place, and there are more surgeries to come.”

As of 3:30 p.m. on Dec. 28, the GoFundMe account has raised $17,925 of its 20,000 goal all in just one day. Click here to visit the page.
