Apple debuts a new mobile operating system for the iPhone 4S and 5, 5th generation iPod touch, iPad Mini, and iPad 2, 3, and 4 on September 10, 2013. This new operating may have the same known impact that the iPhone had when it first debuted in 2007. Some of the new features included is the control center, multitasking, new notifications, iTunes Radio, Air Drop, a new camera, Safari, Siri, new Mail, new weather and messaging. Along with this the user interface will look completely different. The only features discussed are the major new changes.

Control Center

Currently, iOS has started to become a inconvenience. Unlike Android, one must tweak any settings (WiFi, screen brightness, home screen, etc) by tapping on the Settings icon and manually searching for things to tweak there. Apple has a new fix for this with Control Center. To access control center, one must swipe from the bottom of the screen to the top and they get a quick access to toggle the WiFi, airplane mode, bluetooth, do not disturb, music control, brightness control, air drop, air play flashlight, timer, calculator, and camera. This quick access will make using the iOS device convenient.

Multitasking

Currently, iOS contains a very limited use between app switching. The way one can switch tasks currently is by double tapping the home button and access the apps they want to close/switch to there. However, iOS 7 will integrate a more exciting way/easier way to access apps. Now, iOS 7 will store the data of what time of day does the user open each app, and organize them accordingly. For example, Yuri may like to browse Facebook and YouTube at 3:00 AM but then at 10:00 AM he perfers to browse Instagram and listen to iTunes. IOS 7 will organize them so that at 3:00, Facebook and YouTube are first in the list and then around 10, Instagram and iTunes are first in the list. To access this, the user will double tap the home button, and they can select the app by tapping on it or close it by swiping up.

 iTunes Radio

Currently, users on Windows, Mac, Android and iOS 7 devices enjoy listening to music for free by using Pandora, iHeart Radio, or other applications. However, Apple is going to release iTunes Radio to try to replace Pandora. iTunes radio will allow users to listen to a favorite genre or artist like Pandora, and if the user likes the song, they can buy the song with one tap. As they listen to the music more, the more music that will be personalized to their liking and style.

There are so many features that can be covered for iOS 7, and lots of [pictures always help. To help iPhone users with the choice if they want to update to iOS 7, this video will discuss the rest of the features of iOS 7 so you can see if you want to make the switch.
